Little Elm Area Food Bank

Little Elm Food Bank

Founded in 1984, The Little Elm Area Food Bank is a non-profit, 501c (3) organization whose mission is to provide short-term emergency food supplies to Little Elm and Surrounding Area residents needing assistance. The Food Pantry is mostly run by volunteers with one goal only, to help those in need. Oak Point is one of the local communities that are served by The Food Pantry. If you would like to volunteer, please call 972-294-4061.

There is a food donation basket in the lobby of Oak Point City Hall.  Items that are needed are:

Bottled Vegetable Oil

Boxed Cake Mixes and Icing

Boxed Rice

Canned Beef, Chicken, or Ham

Canned Fruit, Applesauce

Canned Vegetables

Cereal for Children

Coffee, Tea, Juice Boxes

Diapers, Wipes

Dry Dog or Cat Food

Flour Tortillas

Granulated White Sugar (5lb)

Grape Jelly and Peanut Butter

Hamburger Helper

Individually Wrapped Bar Soap

Laundry Soap, Dish Soap

Razors (Men or Women)

Saltine Crackers

Shampoo, Conditioner

Shaving Cream (Men)

Spaghetti Sauce (24oz Can)

Toilet Paper

Toothbrushes

Toothpaste (Kids, Adults)

Vegetable Oil
